
Chandigarh, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini met with entrepreneurs and business representatives from Punjab and Haryana during his visit to Singapore on Wednesday.
During this meeting, Saini praised the contributions of the Indian diaspora, emphasizing that their hard work, talent, and entrepreneurship enhance the country’s prestige abroad. He expressed pride in the achievements of Indians in Singapore, a modern global business hub.
The Chief Minister noted that the global experience and expertise of Indian expatriates could play a significant role in India’s development. He encouraged entrepreneurs to take advantage of investment opportunities in Haryana and to partner in the state’s growth.
Saini highlighted Singapore’s transformation into one of the world’s leading business and economic centers, achieved through visionary economic policies, robust infrastructure, good governance, and effective law enforcement, despite its limited geographical area and resources.
He assured that Haryana is continuously working to provide a conducive environment for investors, featuring improved law enforcement, modern infrastructure, and governance.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has reached new milestones in recent years, rapidly progressing toward the goal of becoming a developed nation. The Chief Minister pointed out that government policies have created new opportunities for investment, infrastructure, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Saini also mentioned the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor as a significant achievement under Modi’s leadership, fulfilling a long-standing aspiration of devotees. He noted that the Haryana government has taken important steps to support families affected by anti-Sikh riots by providing government jobs.
Today, Haryana has established itself as a leading industrial and investment center in the country. Its geographical location, strong road and rail connectivity, skilled workforce, robust industrial infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies make it an attractive destination for investment.
