Jaipur : The Desert Corps organised a ‘Mini Marathon’ and ‘Run for Fun’ at Sagat Singh Stadium in Jodhpur Military Station on 06 November 2022. The aim of the event was to deepen the sense of patriotism and commemorate 75 years of Independence.
The Mini Marathon was flagged off by Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor, General Officer Commanding 12 Corps. The event witnessed participation of Army personnel, families and children of Jodhpur Military Station in various categories, who ran with great spirit & enthusiasm.
The General Officer while speaking on the occasion, emphasised on developing the spirit of adventure and fitness amongst troops and families. The winners of the mini marathon were felicitated with medals and prizes.
