Srinagar, March 16 : An encounter is underway between militants and forces in Srinagar, police said on Wednesday. The gunfight erupted on the outskirts of Srinagar at Nowgam when security forces launched an anti militancy operation. This is the second gunfight in Kashmir since Tuesday. A Lashkar-e-Toiba militant was killed in a gunfight at Awantipora in south Kashmir on Tuesday. MJR ACL0730
