Despite an outstanding hat-trick by Delhi’s medium-pacer Nandini Sharma, the Giants managed to hold their ground and claim the win.

At 24 years old, right-arm medium pacer Nandini Sharma from Chandigarh made history by taking five wickets in her four-over spell, conceding 33 runs. Her performance included a sensational hat-trick in the final over of Gujarat’s innings, where she took four wickets in total. Starting with the wicket of Kashvi Gautam on the second ball of the 20th over, she then dismissed Kanika Ahuja, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, and Renuka Thakur in consecutive deliveries, joining the elite list of WPL hat-trick takers alongside Wong, Deepti Sharma, and Grace Harris.
