Greenpanel Industries zooms on resuming manufacturing operations at MDF Plant

Greenpanel Industries is currently trading at Rs. 415.75, up by 10.70 points or 2.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 405.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 408.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 418.55 and Rs. 401.10 respectively. So far 13419 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 435.25 on 14-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 114.00 on 28-Dec-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 418.55 and Rs. 368.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5112.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.67% and 21.24% respectively.

Greenpanel Industries has resumed manufacturing operations at MDF plant situated at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand from December 26, 2021 after repair of refiner and change of defective components. The normal operations of the plant have now been restored and it is running at its full capacity.

The loss incurred due the breakdown of the refiner and loss of profit due to shut down of the above plant beyond 14 days are covered under insurance policy. Insurance claim shall be lodged with the insurer after ascertaining the amount of actual loss and upon receipt of necessary documents from the OEM.

Greenpanel Industries, previously known as Green Panelmax, is the largest producer of MDF in the country. It is India’s largest manufacturer of wood panels.
