In the national capital Delhi, 24-carat gold is now priced at ₹1,01,500 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold has also seen a ₹1,300 increase over the same period.

Gold Has Surged 200% in Six Years
A recent report by Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL) revealed that gold prices in India have jumped by 200% over the last six years. In May 2019, the price was around ₹30,000 per 10 grams, which has now crossed ₹1,00,000 by June 2025. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold prices have surged by over 30% in 2025 alone.
Silver Prices Down by ₹3,000 This Week
In contrast to gold, silver prices dropped by ₹3,000 in the last week. On August 3, silver was priced at ₹1,13,000 per kilogram. However, on Saturday, August 2, prices in Indore’s Sarafa Bazaar rose by ₹1,000, reaching ₹1,12,800 per kilogram.
