Gaurav Gera Reveals His Desire to Appear as a Guest on Kapil Sharmas Show

Mumbai, May 12: Film producer and choreographer Farah Khan visited actor Gaurav Gera’s home for her latest food vlog, accompanied by her chef, Dilip.

During the visit, Gaurav showcased his cooking skills and shared insights about his journey in television, which includes comedic roles on Kapil Sharma’s show.

However, Gaurav disclosed that his limited appearances on the show were a deliberate choice, as he has always wished to be invited as a guest. He expressed, “I appeared in very few episodes of Kapil’s show because I always wanted to go there as a guest. I didn’t want to entertain.”

He also recounted how he developed his character, Chutki. The actor from ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’ mentioned, “I created the Chutki shopkeeper character in about 15 seconds. It has a hint of Sharmila Tagore’s voice.”

During the vlog, Gaurav defended his co-star Ranveer Singh amidst allegations of multiple vanity vans on the set of the film ‘Dhurdhar.’ He dismissed the rumors, stating he did not observe any such arrangements during the filming of his blockbuster.

Praising Ranveer’s performance in ‘Dhurdhar,’ Farah jokingly remarked that all his demands should be met after the film’s release. She said, “What talent! Give him five vans after Dhurdhar.” Gaurav interjected, clarifying, “I didn’t see that many vans.”

With a smile, Farah added, “If he wants it, give it to him.” It’s worth noting that last year, reports suggested that Ranveer required three vanity vans during shooting, which his team denied.

In ‘Dhurdhar,’ Gaurav plays Mohammad Alam, also known as Alam Bhai, a secret Indian intelligence agent posing as a juice shop owner in Lyari, Pakistan.
