New Delhi, March 16: Music composer G.V. Prakash has generously offered to provide music for actor-director Ken Karunas’ debut film ‘Youth’ without charging a fee. This gesture was highly praised by Dhanush during the audio launch event. Dhanush remarked, “You have a big heart for making this decision.”
At the event, Dhanush commended G.V. Prakash, stating, “Everyone has money, but not everyone has the heart to share it. Proving friendship through actions rather than just words is something special. Your decision to provide music for Ken’s film without a fee is a sign of a big heart. I commend you for this fantastic step.”
He further added, “You are the identity of this film. Just as Yuvan Shankar Raja was the identity of ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, you are the identity of ‘Youth’. Thank you from Ken’s side.”
Ken Karunas also shared that when he struggled to find a reliable music director, G.V. Prakash listened to the script and promised to provide music for free. This boosted his confidence. Ken expressed, “G.V. Prakash Anna believed in my vision and offered music without a fee. This means a lot to me.”
In ‘Youth’, Ken Karunas not only stars as the hero but also serves as the director. The film, based on a school backdrop, explores themes of youth emotions, friendship, and challenges. Alongside Ken, actors Anishma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav, Suraj Vengaramoodu, and Devadarshini play significant roles.
The technical team includes cinematography by Vicky, editing by Naresh, art direction by Ramu Thangaraj, and costume design by Dhanush’s exclusive designer Kavya Sriram.
