Former Pakistan Prez Tarar dies at 92

Islamabad, March 7 : Pakistan’s Former President Muhammad Rafiq Tarar passed away on Monday at the age of 92 in Lahore, the media reported. Tarar served as the country’s president from January 1998 to June 2001. He also served as judge of the Pakistan’s Supreme Court, Xinhua reported. Expressing the grievances over the demise of Tarar, President Arif Alvi said, “May Allah forgive the deceased, grant him the highest place in Jannat.” Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed sorrow over the loss of the former President and sent a condolence message to the bereaved family.
