Foreign Forces Attempting to Destabilize India, Awareness Among Citizens Essential: Prof. Niranjan Kumar

Prof. Niranjan Kumar emphasizes the need for public awareness to counter foreign attempts to destabilize India during a mock parliament event.

New Delhi, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : In New Delhi, a mock parliament was held at the NDMC Convention Center, where numerous young individuals voiced their opinions as representatives of the nation’s politicians.

During an interview, Professor Niranjan Kumar praised the mock parliament as a valuable initiative. He noted that while similar events have been conducted at top universities, it is crucial to educate the public about democracy and its complexities, especially in light of attempts to create chaos.

Kumar highlighted that maintaining the sanctity of democracy is vital, which includes removing duplicate voters and those who are deceased or have moved away from the electoral rolls. He pointed out the longstanding issue of fraudulent voting in the country.

According to Kumar, foreign powers are conspiring to hinder India’s growing economy. He expressed concern that these entities are uncomfortable with India’s progress after decades of stagnation. He asserted that efforts are being made to destabilize the nation through what he termed a “deep state,” stressing the need for public awareness and discussion about this issue during the mock parliament.

In this event, young participants acted as representatives, portraying the roles of politicians. This approach aims to illustrate the current state and direction of democracy while also scrutinizing the irresponsible actions of the opposition and their potential impact on the country.

Kumar noted that while many nations look to India’s electoral process and Election Commission for guidance, some individuals continue to question its integrity. He argued that the criticisms directed at the Election Commission and its officials are merely distractions from the real target: the Modi government.

Regarding the opposition’s mock parliament, he stated that if they performed well, they would earn public support. However, he criticized their recent actions, which he deemed unacceptable, including derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by opposition leaders. Kumar suggested that the opposition should clarify why they mislead the public regarding the electoral process.

He concluded that the mock parliament serves as a platform to educate and engage citizens, emphasizing the importance of removing irresponsible individuals and foreign names from the voter list. Kumar urged the opposition to adopt a more responsible approach in their conduct.
