Esha Rikhie to Join Bigg Boss 18, Emphasizes Authenticity Over Showmanship

Mumbai, September 1: Actress Esha Rikhie is set to make her debut in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18.’ In a recent interview, she expressed her desire to showcase her true personality this season.

Esha shared, “Viewers know me only as an actress. I want them to understand who Esha Rikhie really is and see all the different shades of my personality.”

She also discussed her approach to the game, stating, “I will remain authentic because I believe in reality over showmanship. I don’t want to be someone I’m not. I will try to play the game honestly and hope to win it with integrity.”

The actress believes that public judgment could be her biggest challenge on the show. She explained how she plans to handle various situations: “When I feel a situation should be dealt with calmly, I will do so. However, if things get out of hand, I will certainly take a firm stand.”

When asked about dealing with past relationships of contestants coming into the house, including ex-partners, Esha replied, “Whatever happens, will be dealt with then. I have no plans or preparations for that.”

Esha revealed that her motivation for joining the show stems from her mother. She stated, “I usually stand by my friends until the end, but I’m unsure how strong my friendships will be inside the house. I aim to play well and want to win the show for my mother. So, I will definitely prioritize the trophy.”

She added, “I’m an emotional person, so I fear that emotions or friendships might lead to self-harm. However, this time, my focus is firmly on winning the trophy.”
