Mumbai, September 1: Rapper Badshah and Punjabi actress Esha Rikhie are parting ways just five months after their wedding. The couple confirmed their separation through a joint statement on Monday, putting an end to speculation surrounding their relationship.
In their Instagram stories, Badshah and Esha Rikhie issued a note requesting fans and media to respect their privacy during this time.
The statement read, “Esha and I have mutually decided to separate and move forward on our own paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we kindly request that our privacy be honored at this time.”
They further emphasized, “This is the only statement regarding our separation. We sincerely ask that no further speculation or assumptions be made about our relationship.”
Badshah and Esha Rikhie tied the knot in a private ceremony in March 2026. Reports suggest that the couple had been dating for nearly four years before their marriage, which was kept under wraps until Esha’s mother, Poonam Rikhie, shared pictures on social media.
This marks Badshah’s second marriage; he was previously married to Jasmine Masih in 2012, from whom he divorced in 2020. The couple shares a daughter.
Notably, the news of their separation surfaced as Esha Rikhie is rumored to be a contestant on Salman Khan’s hosted show, ‘Bigg Boss 20.’
Esha Rikhie is a well-known figure in Punjabi cinema, having appeared in films like ‘Jatt Boyz Putt Jattan De,’ ‘Ardaas,’ and ‘Happy Go Lucky.’ She also made her Bollywood debut with ‘Nawabzaade.’
