Emirates to resume pre-Covid flight frequencies to India

Hyderabad, March 25 : Emirates will re-introduce pre-pandemic flight frequencies to its destinations in India from April 1. The airline will be operating 170 weekly flights to nine cities across the country. The move comes following the decision by the Narendra Modi government to restore international flights to and from the country in line with established bilateral agreements from the end of March 2022. Emirates will be operating flights from Mumbai (35 weekly), New Delhi (28), Bengaluru (24), Chennai and Hyderabad (21 each), Kochi (14), Kolkata (11), Ahmedabad (9) and Thiruvananthapuram (7), the airlines said in a release on Friday. Emirates has also brought back its customer-favourite Airbus A380 on a daily basis between Dubai and Mumbai in March. Emirates flight EK 500/ 501 is operated by the iconic double decker aircraft.
