
Deeg, May 5: An Army helicopter made an emergency landing in Deeg, Rajasthan, on Monday due to a technical malfunction. The helicopter was transporting Brigadier Manjeet Das from Mathura to Jaipur. During the flight, the pilot encountered an unexpected technical issue but skillfully managed to land safely at the local airstrip.
Upon landing, a large crowd gathered as villagers from nearby areas rushed to the scene, driven by curiosity. Fortunately, there were no casualties or significant damages, providing relief to local authorities.
The Kumher administration responded promptly to the incident. The sub-divisional officer, tehsildar, revenue team, and police arrived quickly to manage the situation. They advised the public to maintain a safe distance and took necessary measures to control the crowd. Officials confirmed that the emergency landing was necessitated by the helicopter’s technical failure.
Shortly after, another Army helicopter arrived at the airstrip. This aircraft safely transported Brigadier Manjeet Das and other military personnel to Jaipur. Repairs on the malfunctioning helicopter commenced immediately at the site. Thanks to effective coordination between the administration and the Army, the situation was brought under control without any chaos.
