Patna, April 9 ( ) Bihar government has made elaborate security arrangements for the Ramnavami celebrations on April 10 in the state. The festival of Ramnavami has coincided with the Ramzan and the police and the administration were on alert mode. Chief secretary Aamir Subhani while reviewing the security arrangements along with the state Director General of Police SK Singhal for the Ramnavami festival instructed the District Magistrates and Senior Police Superintendents to make adequate security arrangements under their jurisdictions. He asked to deploy especial magistrates along with additional reinforcement in all religious processions to be taken out on the occasion of Ramnavami. He asked the administration and the police to take precautionary measures to prevent any clash or dispute. Additional deployment of police has been made in all 38 districts in view of the festival. The special deployment would continue till April 12. Meanwhile the main temple, Mahavir Mandir of the state capital was decked up for Ramnavami during which flower petals would be shower by the drones. Secretary Mahavir temple Nyas Aacharya Kishor Kunal informed that three drones would shower the flower Petals on the temple at 12 o’clock in mid noon the time of birth of Lord Rama. He said that the festival could not be celebrated for the past 2 years due to Covid 19 pandemic but this time the it is being celebrated with religious zeal and enthusiasm as there was no threat of the pandemic. He said that the drones were being provided by the drone agencies of Delhi. Aacharya Kishor Kunal said that after Ayodhya, maximum number of devotees visit Mahavir Temple on the occasion of Ramnavami and this time their number may be around 3 to 5 lakh. RS BM
