Mumbai, May 6: In Hindi cinema, several stars have consistently worked to strengthen the industry over the years. Recently, television and film producer Ekta Kapoor shared her thoughts on this topic. She praised veteran actors Dharmendra, her father Jeetendra, and Akshay Kumar. Additionally, she addressed the pressing question of why Akshay Kumar stars in so many films each year.
Ekta Kapoor posted special pictures on Instagram featuring her father Jeetendra and Akshay Kumar. In one image, both actors are seen sitting together in cream-colored outfits, engaged in conversation. Another photo captures Ekta smiling alongside Akshay Kumar at an event.
In her caption, Ekta wrote, “This picture of Dad and Akshay Sir reminds me of how far discipline can take a person. Whenever I talk to Akshay Kumar, I see a glimpse of my father Jeetendra. Their work ethic, mindset, and demeanor are quite similar.”
She emphasized, “The greatest qualities of both are their discipline and commitment to their work. They not only take their roles seriously but also fully respect the producer’s vision and trust. This trust and respect play a crucial role in advancing the film industry.”
Ekta added, “The film industry cannot thrive solely on big, selective projects. If an artist only makes one or two films a year, it only sustains a part of the industry. However, when artists work continuously, it provides opportunities for both small and large producers, benefiting the entire industry. This is why artists like Jeetendra and Akshay Kumar are essential.”
She noted, “The economic contributions of these artists are often not adequately recognized. They are the ones who have kept the film industry’s business alive through their work. Their hard work and consistency ensure that cinema continues to thrive.”
At the end of her post, Ekta addressed a common question about why Akshay Kumar makes so many films each year. She stated, “The answer lies in the work ethic of these artists. Dharmendra, Jeetendra, and Akshay have always worked consistently, which is why the film industry remains strong today.”
