Las Vegas, April 4 : The Grammy Awards have a reputation for attracting some of the boldest and most colourful fashion choices with attendees all donning a variety of styles on the red carpet that is different from their last ones. This year that statement holds true no less, as demonstrated by all the attendees grabbing the spotlight with their standout attires. Stated to be held earlier this year in January, the 64th Grammy Awards just like anything else were delayed by the onset of Covid-19. However, a short delay did not stop the awards from becoming a full display of fashion montage with people donning attires ranging from colourful, bright and glamorous to some of the more strange ones. Dua Lipa’s stunning black Versace dress studded with golden embellishments turned heads, while Saweetie stunned in a hot .pink Valentino two-piece with matching opera gloves. K-Pop superstars BTS also hit the carpet appearing all suave with their velvet laced colourful custom Louis Vuitton suits. True to his style the “Peaches” singer Justin Bieber donned a grey oversized suit, pink beanie, large black crocs and large platform crocs. While “Montero” singer also was his usual self. “Old Town Road” singer Lil Nas X, whose Montero album was nominated in a few categories, turned heads in a heavily embellished white Balmain two-piece set. The pearl-and-crystal covered suit, which channeled Kim Kardashian’s $20,000 Balmain bachelorette party dress from 2012, featured butterfly detail on the chest, sleeves and back, pagesix reported. He added sky-high platform boots with the same embellishments as his suit along with diamond drop earrings to finish off the fabulous look. “I wanted to give everybody a Balmain look,” he told ENow before showing off his grills, adding, “I wear these all the time.” R&B singer, H.E.R did not fail to grab the spotlight with her yellow and orange jumpsuit complete with flowing sleeves complete with full on sparkle of glamour. Even Lady Gaga and Olivia Rodrigo were perfect. The award show is as much a celebration of music, as it is a display of the wildest sorts of fashion which is all the more evident in the 2022 Grammy Awards held in Las Vegas today. ANV ING
