Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu Launches Indian Nationalist Party to Restore Punjabs Glory

Chandigarh, April 7: Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of former cricketer and ex-Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu, has officially launched a new political party named the Indian Nationalist Party. She asserts that the party aims to restore Punjab’s lost glory and its status as a ‘golden state.’

In a recent post on her social media account X, Dr. Sidhu shared an image featuring the name of her new party. Accompanying the photo, she described the announcement as highly anticipated. She emphasized that they have worked towards creating a new national-level alternative by thoroughly studying and evaluating the performance standards of current political leaders. “We want to dedicate our lives to our country and provide the people with what they truly deserve and expect from us,” she stated.

Dr. Sidhu noted that this initiative is a divine inspiration that has united like-minded individuals who possess the capability, confidence, courage, and determination to work across every state. Their shared goal is to provide justice and peace while operating with high consciousness energy through love, fulfilling the desires of Waheguru.

“We will move forward to restore Punjab’s lost glory as a ‘golden state’—a place where people recognize love, sharing, justice, and the power of freedom. A state where individuals pursue their goals, values, and visions selflessly, without external interference, for the purpose of service and spiritual growth,” she added.

“This will be a government of the people, for the people, and by the people of Punjab. We will walk the path of ‘Truth and Love,’ which is the language of Waheguru,” she concluded.

Notably, Dr. Navjot Kaur’s allegations regarding the sale of the Chief Minister’s position for 500 crores caused significant turmoil in Punjab’s political landscape. Local Congress leaders and the high command came under fire from the opposition. Following this, the party issued a show-cause notice to her. Before the party could expel her, she left Congress. After departing, she began praising the central government, leading to speculation about a possible shift to the BJP. However, she surprised many by launching her party late at night on social media, without her husband, Navjot Singh Sidhu, by her side during the announcement.
