Ramnagar, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Nestled in the lush valleys of Uttarakhand, Shri Hanuman Dham in Ramnagar is a symbol of faith and devotion. This sacred temple offers visitors a serene environment where they can experience profound peace. Here, devotees can witness the nine forms of Lord Hanuman along with twelve of his divine pastimes, all in one place.

It is widely believed that every heartfelt wish made here is fulfilled. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the temple sees a surge of devotees, with chants of “Jai Hanuman” echoing throughout the premises. This holy site, embraced by nature, is a blend of religion, devotion, and tranquility that attracts everyone who visits.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently shared a special post about the temple. He posted a video on the social media platform X, stating, “Shri Hanuman Dham, located on the sacred land of Ramnagar in Nainital, is a magnificent place for faith, devotion, and spiritual experiences. The divine forms of Hanuman provide a deep spiritual experience to devotees. Be sure to visit this sacred site when in Nainital.”
This temple is unique as it showcases 21 forms of Bajrangbali simultaneously, including Hanuman’s child form with Mother Anjani, his servitude at the feet of Lord Ram, the five-faced Hanuman, the life-giving Hanuman, the valorous Hanuman, and the divine Hanuman holding Ram and Sita in his heart.
Shri Hanuman Dham is also regarded as a ‘wish-fulfilling sanctuary.’ Visitors often write their desires on paper and offer them at the feet of the deity or tie a prayer flag, believing that Bajrangbali will grant their wishes. This site has also come to be known as the ‘fifth dham’ of the Kumaon region. The temple features a grand archway adorned with two fish, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.
