Patna, April 7: Dinesh Lal Yadav, a renowned Bhojpuri film actor and former BJP MP, has shared his insights on West Bengal’s political landscape. In a recent conversation, he addressed Mamata Banerjee’s recent statements, the voter list controversy, and the ongoing political developments related to elections and parliament.
Yadav stated, “Mamata Banerjee has now understood the ideology of the people of Bengal. She is trying to save herself, but the greatest power lies with the people. The government that the people desire will come to power. The people of Bengal are set to remove Didi from power, and that is the fear she is grappling with. This is why she is making such statements.”
In another political discourse, Congress leader Pawan Khera accused Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife, Riniki Bhuiyan Sarma, of holding passports from three countries (Egypt, Antigua and Barbuda, UAE) and investing in foreign shell companies. In response, Sarma’s wife has filed an FIR against Khera. Yadav remarked that if someone is accused without fact-checking, filing a case is inevitable. He added that Congress will not return to power, as the public is aware of their past actions when they had the opportunity. Even in Assam, their government did not achieve significant accomplishments, which is why the people have kept them away from power.
Regarding the role of star campaigners, Yadav emphasized, “Apart from star campaigners, party workers are working with great enthusiasm. Every worker in the party is important, and they will spring into action as soon as they receive orders.”
He further stated, “For us, the country comes first. In the BJP, the party is above the individual, and the country is above the party. Those who have a sense of service towards the nation work selflessly.”
On the possibility of Khesari Lal Yadav joining the BJP, he mentioned, “That decision lies with the party. The top leadership decides who gets tickets or who is brought in or out of the party. Khesari is like my younger brother. I have never opposed him. If he gets the opportunity, it will be a joyful moment.”
