Digvijay Singh Launches Truth and Pride Journey from Ujjain to Ayodhya
Former MP Chief Minister Digvijay Singh embarks on a spiritual journey from Ujjain to Ayodhya, promoting values of truth and transparency.

Ujjain, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : On October 20, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh, commenced his “Saty Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra” from Ujjain, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. This spiritual journey is set to cover approximately 930 kilometers, culminating in Ayodhya.
The event began in the holy city of Ujjain with Vedic chants, devotional songs, and the enthusiastic cheers of saints and followers. Hundreds of saints from across the country participated, leading the procession with great fervor.
Before the journey commenced, Singh visited the Chintaman Ganesh Temple to seek blessings from Lord Ganesh. He then proceeded to the Mahakaleshwar Temple for the blessings of Lord Mahakal, followed by prayers at the Harsiddhi Temple. A special ritual involving the creation and worship of a ‘Parthiv Shivling’ was held at Balaji Garden near Narsingh Ghat, enhancing the spiritual ambiance with bhajans and aarti.
The atmosphere was filled with spiritual joy as saints actively participated in the celebrations. Notable spiritual leaders, including Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and Swami Sadanand Saraswati, expressed their support for the journey through official letters. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Brahmarshi Ramkrishnanand also endorsed the initiative.
Support has also come from Santosh Dubey, a prominent figure associated with the Ram Temple movement in Ayodhya. Singh aims to spread the core values of Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing truth and transparency. Key issues highlighted during the journey include the need for transparency in donations at religious sites, impartial investigations into donation fraud, and raising awareness about electoral malpractices.
The journey from Ujjain to Ayodhya is viewed as a significant step in addressing societal concerns regarding truth, justice, and accountability within the community.
