
Zirakpur, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : Delhi Police conducted a significant operation, successfully rescuing a 14-year-old girl who had been abducted from Zirakpur, Punjab. Authorities apprehended a 16-year-old boy in connection with the case.
On Saturday, officials highlighted the effectiveness of the police’s prompt response, professional investigation, and improved inter-state coordination. The girl was taken on September 5 from Bharat Nagar, prompting an immediate FIR and prioritization of the case.
A dedicated police team was formed to locate the minor and the suspect. This team employed various strategies, including meticulous analysis of CCTV footage, gathering intelligence, and conducting raids at suspected locations across Delhi.
Acting on the gathered information, the police team traveled to Zirakpur, where they successfully rescued the abducted girl and arrested the 16-year-old. Authorities confirmed that further investigations are ongoing.
