New Delhi, April 14 : The national capital logged 325 fresh cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, the health bulletin released by the Delhi Government showed on Thursday. Delhi had recorded 299 infections on Wednesday, hence today the single day case count went up by 26. Addition of these new cases have taken the national capital’s cumalative caseload to 18,67,206. The national capital has seen an uptick in cases in the past few days after recording a steady decline for over two months. While no death due to the highly contagious disease was reported in the past 24 hours, the daily positivity rate has gone up to 2.39 per cent. The state government has stated that it is keeping a watchful eye on the situation. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain had earlier said that there is no reason to worry until a new variant of concern is detected. “The daily cases in Delhi are being reported in the range of 100-200. We are keeping an eye on hospital admissions and they are going down.” he stated. ASH RKM
