New Delhi, March, 26 : A Delhi court has issued notice to CBI and asked the probe agency to file its response within two weeks on a bail petition filed by former managing director and chief executive officer of National Stock Exchange Chitra Ramkrishna in NSE co-location scam case. Special CBI judge Sanjeev Aggarwal adjourned the matter for further hearing to April 8. Petitioner’s counsel contended that Ramkrishna was not required for further interrogation and no purpose will be served by keeping her in custody. The petition also said that the accused was ready to follow any condition imposed by the court. She was arrested by CBI on Sunday after her anticipatory bail application was rejected by the court. The court had rejected Ramkrishna’s bail plea on Thursday. Income Tax Department had also raided her premises in Mumbai and Chennai. Earlier, a CBI court had sent former Group Operating Officer and advisor to Ramkrishna, Anand Subramanian to CBI custody. Subramanian was arrested by the CBI from Chennai in connection with the NSE case. XC RA SHK2150
