Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Addresses Sonarpur, Promises Justice for All

Kolkata, April 26: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a roadshow in Sonarpur, emphasizing that politics should not be based on caste, creed, or religion. He reassured the minority communities that justice will prevail for them as it does for the majority. “If anyone attempts to create chaos, they will face the consequences they deserve,” he stated.

Singh highlighted India’s unique message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ asserting that all communities—Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and Jews—are part of one family. However, he warned against wrongdoing, stating that those who commit crimes will find themselves in prison. He expressed concern over recent incidents, mentioning the abduction of judges, which he described as unprecedented in his long political career.

“Is this what justice looks like? Where individuals take the law into their own hands?” he questioned. Singh also inquired about the development in West Bengal, criticizing the TMC’s 15-year rule for failing to address unemployment and other pressing issues.

BJP candidate Debashish Dhar expressed his gratitude for Singh’s visit, noting the recent large rally by Prime Minister Modi in the area. He claimed that the public is demanding change and confidently predicted that the BJP would win over 200 seats this election. “The dreams that remained unfulfilled last time will become a reality now,” he asserted, adding that the electorate is fully prepared to vote in their favor.
