Mumbai, April 24: Actress Deepika Singh recently showcased her talent in a unique dance performance for her current show, ‘Mangal Lakshmi.’ She danced to the popular song “Dola Re Dola” from an Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film, while blindfolded, adding an intriguing twist to her routine.

The actress shared behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot on her Instagram handle. She posted several pictures and videos, revealing her dancing with a blindfold. In her caption, she wrote, “Dola Re Dola blindfolded task choreography, from today’s episode!”

In the videos shared by Deepika, she is seen wearing a vibrant and heavily embroidered traditional lehenga in shades of red, pink, and yellow. She paired it with a finely designed choli and dupatta, enhancing her look with chokers, layered necklaces, bangles, and earrings that perfectly complemented her attire.

Regarding her acting career, Deepika Singh has been a part of the entertainment industry for over a decade. She gained fame with the popular TV show ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ which aired in 2011 and became a household name. The series was one of the most loved shows of its time, featuring co-stars like Anas Rashid, Neelu Vaghela, Kanika Maheshwari, and others.

In ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ Deepika played the role of Sandhya Rathi, a woman aspiring to become an IPS officer while managing her family responsibilities. The storyline revolves around her dream of becoming an IPS officer, despite marrying a man who is a ‘halwai’ and lacks formal education.

Despite his limited education, Sandhya’s husband supports her dreams and capabilities, helping her overcome numerous challenges.

Since ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ Deepika has appeared in various television projects, including Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Kavach, Mahashivratri.’ Currently, she plays a significant role in ‘Mangal Lakshmi.’

On a personal note, Deepika Singh is married to Rohit Raj Goyal, the director of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ and they have a son named Soham. Besides acting, she has been passionately learning Odissi dance over the past few years and remains active on social media.
