Ranchi, May 11: In a recent conversation with a news agency, former minister and BJP legislator C.P. Singh highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s appeal as being in the nation’s best interest.
Singh stated that the BJP operates with a “nation first” mentality. He pointed out the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran, which has hindered fuel shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. He credited PM Modi’s foresight for the existing stockpiles of petrol and diesel but questioned how long these reserves would last.
He emphasized that imported fuel is purchased with foreign currency, urging citizens to conserve foreign exchange and limit international travel. Singh clarified that buying gold should be reserved for essential occasions, such as weddings. He encouraged a positive reception to PM Modi’s appeal.
Singh criticized the opposition for viewing every positive initiative from a negative perspective, asserting that as Indians, there should be a sense of nationalism. He believes that everyone should act accordingly.
Regarding PM Modi’s remarks about Congress being a “parasitic party,” Singh stated that this is not a new sentiment. He affirmed that Modi’s observations about Congress are accurate, noting that the party’s character has been questionable since its inception. Singh warned that Congress has faced downfall when allied with regional parties in states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. He advised people to steer clear of Congress.
On the Supreme Court granting bail to former minister Alamgir Alam and his PA, Singh remarked that everyone should respect the court’s decisions. He emphasized that there is no authority greater than the Supreme Court, and the outcomes of investigations will determine their fate. Compliance with court orders is paramount.
