Covid hits Delhi Capitals camp

Mumbai, April 18 : Delhi Capitals on Monday cancelled their scheduled travel to Pune after two Covid-19 cases were detected in the camp ahead of their Indian Premier League fixture against Punjab Kings (PBKS). The entire DC contingent was asked to go into in-room quarantine. A player and a team masseur have tested positive on the Rapid Antigen Test and will undergo further RT-PCR tests to confirm the result, Cricbuzz reported. If the positive test is confirmed, then it will be the third Covid case in the DC camp as team physio Patrick Farhart tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday ahead of the DC’s game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, no decision been made on rescheduling DC’s fixture against PBKS, which is scheduled on April 20 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. BAV MR
