New Delhi, March 7 : The Supreme Court on Monday granted two weeks time to the on Public Service Commission (UPSC) to take in the aspirants who contracted Covid-19 during their examination, and sought an additional (Extra) attempt to appear in the same. A Bench, headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar and also comprising Justice CT Ravikumar, asked the UPSC to take instructions and fixed the matter for further hearing to March 21. Advocate Naresh Kaushik, appearing for the UPSC, told the Supreme Court that this is an issue which is very complicated. Please give me 2 weeks time to take instructions on the same issue. “As requested by Mr Kaushik, lawyer for UPSC, this court defer the matter till March 21. Affidavit to be filed by the parties before the next date,” the bench noted. Additional Solicitor General (ASG) KM Nataraj, Senior law officer of the on of India (UOI) and Senior Advocate Gopal Sankaranarayanan appeared for the petitioners. SM RJ
