Aurangabad, August 12: Political tensions have escalated following the Congress party’s organization of a Sundarkand recitation and Havan in response to the Ram Mandir donation theft case. JD(U) MLA Pramod Kumar Singh remarked that Congress has finally recognized the power of Sanatan.
The event took place at the Congress office located in the residential premises of former MLA and district president Anand Shankar Singh. It was intended to invoke good sense among senior BJP, RSS, and VHP leaders allegedly involved in the theft incident related to the Ram Mandir.
In a sarcastic tone, MLA Singh stated, “They should have awakened to good sense long ago. Those who have always insulted Sanatan and our Lord Ramchandra are now reciting Sundarkand. I welcome this promotion of Sanatan.”
He questioned Congress’s commitment, saying, “Where were they when the Ram Mandir was being established in Ayodhya? Their leader Rahul Gandhi refused to go there despite receiving an invitation. Congress seems to love mosques more than temples.”
Singh also targeted Congress regarding the allegations of donation theft linked to the Ram Mandir. He stated that if any wrongdoing occurred, investigative agencies would take action against the guilty. He referenced Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, asserting that under his governance, wrongdoers are not spared.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath neither frames the innocent nor protects the guilty. Actions in Uttar Pradesh are taken according to the law, and strict measures are enforced against wrongdoers,” he added.
Singh thanked Congress leaders in a sarcastic manner, noting that those who had distanced themselves from Sanatan ideology for a long time are now engaging in Sundarkand recitation and Havan. He expressed that it is a positive development that Congress has recognized the strength of Sanatan traditions.
