Commercial LPG cylinder prices hiked

New Delhi, April 1 : The commercial Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders will cost more as the prices were increased by Rs 250 on Friday. According to Indian Oil, a 19 kg cylinder in Delhi will now cost Rs 2253, in Kolkata it will cost Rs 2351.50, in Mumbai Rs 2205 and in Chennai Rs 2406. The rates will be applicable from today. In the past two months, the price of 19 kg cylinders has been hiked by Rs 346. Previous revisions were made on March 1 and 22, 2022. While on March 1, the prices went up by Rs 105, on March 22 they were reduced by Rs 9. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. On March 22, the price of a subsidised domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50. After the assembly elections in 5 states recently, the fuel prices have been on the rise. However, petrol and diesel prices were kept unchanged today. AKM RKM
