Los Angeles, March 20 : CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) has bagged some of the top prizes right before the 94th Academy Awards, including the SAG Awards, (Screen Actors Guild), Critics Choice Awards, HCA (Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards), SBIFF (Santa Barbara International Film Festival), BAFTA (British Academy Film Television Awards), Independent Spirit Awards etc. Adding to its high number of accolades, the film can now also add its win at the Producers Guild Awards for winning one of its highest awards for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures while further making history by becoming the first ever streaming film to bag the award. The coming of age drama has so far earned three Oscar nominations and its ever increasing list of accolades is not just highly impressive, but also gives it a high chance of bagging an Oscar. The film represents the deaf comm ty who has given the film an overly positive reaction for highlighting them in the mainstream of Hollywood for its more accurate depiction in comparison to previous efforts.
