Lucknow, September 3: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit two districts in the state on Thursday. His first stop will be Farrukhabad, where he will meet with flood-affected families. Following this, he will head to Mathura to inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth ₹1,051 crores.
In a post on the social media platform X, CM Yogi stated, “Today, I will participate in programs that provide support to disaster-affected families in Farrukhabad and accelerate development and welfare in Mathura.”
He added, “In Farrukhabad, relief materials will be distributed to 1,000 flood-affected families, along with land allotment certificates for those who have lost their homes. Financial aid will also be provided from the disaster relief fund. The state government stands with affected families with full sensitivity during this crisis.”
CM Yogi further mentioned, “In the holy birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation for 229 development projects worth ₹1,051 crores in the presence of revered saints. Additionally, assistance will be provided to 7,240 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 and the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural), along with certificates, tractor keys, and checks to various beneficiaries.”
The Chief Minister emphasized that this journey of public welfare—from disaster relief to providing shelter for every family and ensuring development on sacred land—continues to realize the vision of a ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh.’
It is noteworthy that CM Yogi will arrive in Farrukhabad from Lucknow. He will conduct an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas to assess the situation. His helicopter is scheduled to land at the Fatehgarh police line parade ground at 11:30 AM. At 11:40 AM, he will reach the flood relief camp set up at the police line, where he will meet with flood victims to understand their challenges. After engaging with the public, he will then proceed to Mathura.
