Gorakhpur, May 17: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with citizens during a public hearing at Gorakhnath Temple on Sunday morning. This was his second consecutive day in Gorakhpur. He listened to the grievances of people from various districts and emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving every individual’s issues.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that justice is served without discrimination. He stressed that every eligible person should benefit from welfare schemes, and that adequate medical care must be arranged for those in need. He also called for strict action against land mafia and bullies who encroach on property.
During the public hearing, held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Adityanath addressed the concerns of around 150 individuals. He assured them that their petitions would be referred to the relevant officials for prompt and satisfactory resolution.
One woman shared her family’s financial struggles and requested assistance for her daughter’s wedding. CM Yogi informed her about the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, which allocates one lakh rupees per couple. The woman was delighted and requested that her daughter also benefit from the scheme. In response, CM Yogi instructed officials to complete the necessary procedures.
Several individuals approached the Chief Minister seeking financial aid for the treatment of severe illnesses. He assured them that no one would be denied treatment due to lack of funds. He directed officials to quickly prepare estimates for high-level medical care for those in need. Once the estimates are ready, the government will provide immediate financial support. The Chief Minister also instructed swift resolution of matters related to revenue and law enforcement.
