
Beijing, April 27: The sixth Asian Beach Games commenced its fourth day on April 26, featuring the exciting conclusion of the dragon boat competitions. The Chinese team showcased exceptional performance, securing two additional gold medals, bringing their total to five in this event.
On the same day, Chinese athlete Chang Qiang proved his prowess by winning the gold medal in the men’s 5-kilometer open water swimming event.
China also excelled in the men’s and women’s 400-meter sprint races, demonstrating remarkable teamwork and strength, clinching gold medals in both categories. This achievement further solidified China’s dominance in the dragon boat competitions, with five out of six gold medals awarded to them.
In the men’s 5-kilometer open water swimming competition, Chang Qiang finished first with a time of 53 minutes and 46 seconds, delivering an impressive display of skill.
Beyond the competitive achievements, the Asian Beach Games are drawing special attention due to their unique coastal appeal. Many competition venues are located near open beaches, offering spectators a chance to witness the events up close.
