This announcement came during the ‘Seva, Sankalp, and Samarpan Abhiyan’ event, commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of dedicated service in governance.

The event, held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, included the inauguration of six projects worth ₹279.80 crore and the groundbreaking of six additional projects totaling ₹304.05 crore. The total investment reflects the government’s commitment to urban development and public welfare.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister also conducted a draw for newly constructed housing units and distributed appointment letters to over 450 newly appointed technical supervisors and 50 junior clerks. He highlighted that Modi’s 25 years of service to the nation will be celebrated on October 7, and reiterated the focus on the common man in development politics. Patel noted that Modi has set a remarkable record in public service as the head of government.

Reflecting on Modi’s tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Patel mentioned the transformation of Kankaria Lake and the world-class Sabarmati Riverfront as symbols of visionary leadership. He praised the Prime Minister’s initiatives, such as the Swachh Bharat Mission, which has become a mass movement, and the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which alleviates the financial burden of healthcare for families.

Patel expressed that Gujarat has emerged as a growth engine in realizing Modi’s vision of a ‘developed Gujarat for a developed India,’ attributing this progress to Modi’s strong leadership and foresight. He referenced a NITI Aayog report that ranks Gujarat at the top for financial management, underscoring the government’s commitment to timely appointments in various departments.

In a historic move, Patel distributed appointment letters to more than 450 employees in a single day, a record for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. He urged the new recruits to uphold integrity and commit to serving the public with dedication and quality work. The Chief Minister called on all citizens to adopt a positive outlook and contribute to realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed nation.
