Chief Minister Sai will arrive in New Delhi late Monday night at around 11:30 PM. On April 7, he will first meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 AM, followed by a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. These meetings are considered pivotal for determining the future of Bastar, a region long affected by left-wing extremism.
According to sources, the Chief Minister is expected to present a detailed roadmap and a comprehensive framework for the rapid development of Bastar. With the influence of Maoists declining and the state government aiming to eradicate left-wing extremism by March 31, 2026, the focus has shifted from security operations to large-scale developmental initiatives aimed at integrating this tribal-dominated area into the mainstream.
In his presentation, CM Sai is anticipated to highlight plans for expanding infrastructure facilities, including roads, railways, and irrigation projects. He will also discuss promoting industries, attracting new investments, creating job opportunities for local youth, and ensuring the inclusive development of tribal communities.
