Chhattisgarh Assembly’s Session likely to be stormy

Raipur, Mar 6 : The Chhattisgarh Assembly’s 19-day-long Budget Session, scheduled to commence on Monday and comprise 13 sittings, is all set to be a turbulent affair as the principal opposition BJP has formulated a strategy to rain fire on the Treasury benches over many issues including law and order. Proceedings will get underway with the customary gubernatorial address by Ms Anusuiya Uikey and that shall be followed by obituary references. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will present the Third Supplementary Budget. The Budget Session usually commences in February. The BJP has already expressed displeasure over the brief nature of the session. AS-AC
