
Beijing, February 16: According to China’s National Energy Administration, the charging volume on national highways reached 1.52805 million kilowatt-hours on the first day of the Spring Festival holiday (February 15). This marks a remarkable year-on-year increase of 116.32%, based on data from 53,300 highway charging piles included in the national charging infrastructure monitoring and service platform.
On the last working day before the holiday (February 14), the charging volume on national highways hit 1.60269 million kilowatt-hours, showing a year-on-year growth of 62.06%.
Currently, the demand for charging in China is steadily rising. Charging facilities in highway service areas are generally operating efficiently, adequately meeting the energy needs of travelers returning home during the nine-day Spring Festival holiday.
