Ballia, February 2: Uttar Pradesh Minister Daya Shankar Singh said the Central Budget 2026 has been prepared keeping all sections of society in mind and will lay a strong foundation for a developed India by 2047.
He described the budget as bringing several new initiatives aimed at the upliftment of farmers, women, youth, and the most vulnerable sections of society.
The minister emphasized that this budget is not just about numbers but is a means to bring real change in the lives of common people. Special focus has been given to increasing farmers’ income, empowering women, and providing new opportunities for youth. Steps have also been taken to integrate marginalized communities into the mainstream.
Targeting the Congress party, Singh said that Congress had the longest opportunity to present budgets and govern the country but misled people under slogans like “Remove Poverty.” In contrast, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, government schemes now deliver funds directly to the poor, increasing transparency and trust.
Speaking about the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process, Singh alleged that those facing difficulties are involved in manipulating voter IDs. He claimed some people had registered fraudulent votes in multiple places, leading to their current problems.
Commenting on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Singh said the law and order situation there is poor and questioned how she can comment on the budget under such conditions. According to him, she is unable to focus on India’s development.
Singh concluded that this budget is a roadmap to move the country forward, and its positive effects will be visible in the coming years. He expressed confidence that government policies will benefit farmers, youth, and women the most, helping India emerge as a strong and self-reliant nation by 2047.
