She gained fame through her roles in “Veer-Zaara” and “Baghban,” establishing herself as one of India’s prominent actresses.

Born on September 25, 1977, in Ludhiana, Punjab, Divya was raised by her mother, Dr. Nalini Dutta, a government officer and doctor, after losing her father at a young age. She completed her early education at Sacred Heart Convent School in Ludhiana and later earned a degree in psychology.

From a young age, Divya was passionate about dancing and acting, and she has always been a fan of Amitabh Bachchan. Her acting career began in 1994 with the film “Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna.” Since then, she has appeared in over 60 films, with notable performances in “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag,” “Delhi-6,” “Welcome to Sajjanpur,” “Badlapur,” and “Stanley Ka Dabba.” Her role in “Irada” earned her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress, among other prestigious accolades for her diverse performances.
