Choose Natural and Homemade Colors: Chemical colors can harm the skin and sometimes lead to allergies or infections. Instead, opt for natural colors made from gram flour, turmeric, herbal powders, and flower colors like rose, tesu, and hibiscus. These natural colors are not only safe but also nourish the skin. Turmeric has antibacterial properties that keep the skin healthy.
Apply Oil on Skin and Hair: Before playing Holi, generously apply coconut or sesame oil on your skin and hair. A thin layer of oil prevents colors from penetrating deeply into the skin, making them easier to wash off. This helps avoid dryness, irritation, or itching. Applying oil to hair also prevents colors from reaching the roots.
