Kolkata, April 5 : Calcutta High Court on Tuesday observed that if the CBI may deem fit to have former SSC ( Schools Service Commission) advisor Shanti Prasad Sinha in its custody and question him regarding the alleged irregularities in the recruitments of teaching and non-teaching staff in the government-sponsored schools, the agency can go ahead. Single bench judge justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay after hearing the arguments observed this and directed the prime accused to make himself present before the CBI official by 3 pm on Tuesday. The court also directed the Survey Police Station officer-in-charge in the city to ensure the presence of the former SSC advisor in the court, which also stated that Shanti Prasad Sinha was the main culprit in the alleged recruitment scam.
