BTS surprise at the Oscars

Los Angeles, March 28 : Midway into the ceremony at Dolby Theatres here ahead of the Best Original Screenplay announcement at the 94th Academy Awards, popular KPop band BTS made a surprise entry, al bet virtually. It was a video message from the group that was shown during the ceremony on Sunday here. The band spoke about their love for animated movies. Will Smith starring as “Aladdin” in the 2019 movie was run alongside their message. There were loud cheers and shrieks. The Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers made the surprise appearance, they, however were not present at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It was a pre-recorded segment called “Favorite Film Musical With BTS”, and the South Korean boy band was all praise for Disney and Pixar. “Coco!” Jimin shouted of his favorite musical film, giving some love to the 2017 animated classic from Pixar, which nabbed best animated feature and best original song at the 2018 Oscars. “It’s a real masterpiece,” RM agreed. “I watched it three times and cried a lot.” Jimin added, “I didn’t cry though.” ING
