Jaisalmer, 2 January: The entire cast of the upcoming film ‘Border-2’, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, has arrived in Jaisalmer ahead of its release on 23 January. The film’s first song, ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, has already created a buzz following its audio release.
The video of ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ is set to be launched near the Tanot Mata Temple in Longewala on Friday evening. Singer Sonu Nigam expressed his excitement about the song during the event preparations.
The star cast and singers, including Sonu Nigam, Varun Dhawan, Bhushan Kumar, Ahan Shetty, and Nidhi Dutta, were seen at the airport in Jaisalmer. Before the grand music launch, the entire team will visit the Tanot Mata Temple located near the India-Pakistan border for blessings. Sunny Deol will also participate in the music launch event.
Speaking to the media before the launch, Sonu Nigam said, “I sang this song 30 years ago and getting the chance to sing it again fills me with great joy. This song is very close to my heart.” He also mentioned that this would be his first visit to the Tanot Mata Temple, which he considers a fortunate opportunity.
The music launch will be attended by soldiers who protect the border, and the event will be held in their honour. Earlier, the film’s teaser was launched with grandeur, where Sunny Deol was seen emotional.
The film is inspired by the 1971 battle of Longewala fought between India and Pakistan. The Indian Air Force played a crucial role in this war, disrupting Pakistan’s plans. While the original ‘Border’ film focused mainly on the Indian Army, ‘Border-2’ highlights significant contributions from both the Air Force and the Army.
