Gandhinagar, April 10: The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) youth wing has pledged to work towards achieving a significant victory in the upcoming local body elections. This commitment was made during the first meeting of the newly formed state unit at the party’s headquarters in Gandhinagar.
The meeting was chaired by Hemang Joshi, the state youth wing president and MP from Vadodara, with state in-charge Kirit Patel also in attendance. Addressing party workers, Joshi emphasized the importance of organizational strength, discipline, and teamwork to expand the party’s reach.
He stated that a robust and coordinated framework is essential to convey the party’s ideology to the “last person in society.” Joshi urged youth wing members to remain active in their respective areas and maintain continuous contact with the public.
He highlighted that through ongoing dialogue and outreach, workers should communicate the welfare schemes of the central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the initiatives of the state government under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Joshi also outlined plans for upcoming programs, campaigns, and social initiatives, encouraging workers to leverage digital platforms to strengthen engagement with the youth. He noted that the primary goal should be to make the organization more dynamic while contributing to positive social change.
Kirit Patel, addressing the assembly, referred to the youth wing as the party’s “power center.” He urged officials to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and work towards achieving organizational goals. Mentioning the upcoming local elections, he stressed the crucial role of the youth wing in garnering support.
Party workers present at the meeting expressed a collective commitment to ensure a decisive victory for the BJP in the elections. Discussions during the meeting included organizational matters, membership drives, training programs, and community service activities.
Leaders advised workers to strengthen grassroots engagement, maintain dialogue with local communities, and better understand public concerns. Attendees included state general secretary Naresh Desai, Devangi Maiyad, Bhavin Shiroya, along with youth wing officials, coordinators of various cells, executive members, and representatives from district and municipal units.
