Kharagpur, April 9: BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh from Kharagpur has asserted that significant changes are on the horizon for Bengal and other states, which will positively impact the lives of the people.
In a media interaction, Ghosh stated, “Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding three public meetings in Bengal. Our leaders, including the Prime Minister and the National President, are assuring the public that if changes occur in Bengal and other states, the lives of the people will also improve. The BJP government is fostering development across the country, and the residents here will benefit from it. While there is tension in the Middle East, India remains peaceful. We will win Assam and Puducherry, and change is inevitable in Bengal.”
Ghosh emphasized, “Everyone desires peace. A few leaders are endangering the world for their selfish interests. The sooner peace is restored, the better it will be. Today, the entire world is interconnected, relying on one another. Thus, the world cannot function without oil and gas. This poses the biggest challenge for the common people.”
He also highlighted the ongoing violence in Bengal over the past year, stating, “Looting of government funds, properties, and schemes has become commonplace. Corruption is rampant, involving certain politicians and their associated businessmen. As elections approach, TMC members are fearful of losing.”
Commenting on the release of Sudipta Sen, the mastermind behind the Saradha chit fund scam, following a bail granted by the Kolkata High Court after nearly 13 years, Ghosh remarked, “This process has been ongoing for 12 years. The Mamata Banerjee government has protected him, and TMC members have utilized his millions. Therefore, whatever actions the law mandates, the court will address them. Many have already received bail.”
