Kolkata, April 13: Manoj Tiwari, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has made a bold claim regarding the political landscape in West Bengal, stating that the BJP is poised to form the government in the state this time.
Speaking to reporters, Tiwari emphasized the overwhelming support and affection the people of Bengal are showing towards the BJP. He indicated that this is a clear sign that a change in power is imminent. Tiwari asserted that the state requires transformation and that the public is now ready for it.
He criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC), stating that the party is now engaging in politics based on rumors rather than addressing real issues. Tiwari pointed out that when the opposition lacks solid issues, it resorts to spreading confusion. Citing the Mithila region, he stressed that the freedom of choice in food and attire is a fundamental right, reflecting the BJP’s motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
Tiwari expressed confidence that the people of West Bengal will no longer be misled by rumors and will choose development-oriented politics. He believes that in the near future, the electorate will bring the BJP to power, steering the state in a new direction. He accused the current government of damaging the state’s dignity, which he believes needs urgent rectification.
He praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, noting that his policies have led to rapid development across various sectors in the country. Tiwari highlighted significant progress in infrastructure, such as highways and bridges, as well as initiatives for the poor and security improvements.
Additionally, he mentioned the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’, asserting the BJP’s commitment to empowering women. He advocated for a 33% reservation for women in assemblies, parliament, and local bodies. Tiwari concluded by stating that it will soon become evident who supports this legislation and who does not.
