Patna, February 22: BJP MP Shambhu Sharan Patel responded to Congress protests at the ‘India AI Impact Summit,’ Amit Shah’s comments on illegal immigration, Mamata Banerjee‘s allegations of discrimination, and Tejashwi Yadav’s criticism of law and order in Bihar.
Patel stated, “Congress members have worked to defame the country at the AI Summit. People from around the world attended this event. If they had something to say, they could have done so on stage. Their actions, like removing T-shirts to protest, reveal their true character. Congress talks about hollow nationalism. Whenever national pride is at stake, they are the first to insult the country and oppose it.”
He emphasized that any summit is not owned by a single party but belongs to the entire nation. The actions of Congress at the AI Summit deserve severe condemnation.
Regarding Amit Shah’s statement about a ‘border intruder-free India,’ Patel asserted that illegal immigrants will be removed not just from voter lists but from the country. He mentioned that there is an ongoing bureaucratic process for this. Patel expressed that West Bengal is a state loved by all Indians, especially by the BJP. He predicted that Mamata Banerjee would lose the upcoming elections, suggesting that her recent comments reflect her desperation.
In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s criticism of the Prime Minister concerning law and order in Bihar, Patel remarked that the NDA government never compromises on law and order. “Those who commit crimes will face consequences. Under RJD rule, Bihar experienced lawlessness. Even the High Court had to declare that Bihar was under ‘jungle raj.’ The BJP and NDA government prioritize law and order in Bihar,” he concluded.
