BJP Leader Criticizes Kejriwals Mental Naxal Comment

New Delhi, August 17: Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra criticized Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday for referring to himself as a “mental Naxal.”

Malhotra asserted that there is no doubt Kejriwal’s mindset aligns with a politically Naxal ideology. He accused Kejriwal of supporting student movements in Delhi, where the BJP governs, while remaining silent during police actions against students in Punjab, where AAP is in power, and in Jharkhand, where AAP’s ally governs.

He stated that Kejriwal’s claim of wanting to change the “rotten system” and make India corruption-free is merely a facade.

Malhotra emphasized that the people of Delhi and Punjab have witnessed the limited changes Kejriwal and his administrations have made and the ineffective measures taken against corruption.

He reminded the public that Kejriwal has historically harbored Naxal-like ideologies, which continue to influence his political actions, deeply intertwined with corruption.

Malhotra also recalled that during the first year of Kejriwal’s government, he obstructed Republic Day arrangements at Rajpath. A few years later, Kejriwal staged a protest at the Lieutenant Governor’s residence, revealing his chaotic and Naxal-like mindset.

In a separate incident, Delhi BJP Secretary and former MLA Manoj Kumar accused AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar of politicizing the murder of Anil, a sanitation worker employed by a private company.

Kumar urged the AAP MLA to cooperate with the Delhi Cleaning Commission’s efforts to provide appropriate compensation to the victim’s family and secure a job for a family member on compassionate grounds.

He assured that BJP leadership is in contact with senior police officials and is confident that the murder suspect will be apprehended soon.
